Ben Tuxworth studied BA (Hons) Photography at the University of Cumbria in Carlisle. He has always been a photographer of one kind or another. Starting out in wedding & portraiture, e-commerce & product photography and now, of course, macro. Ben is a visual creative at heart, pouring his unique and artistic style into everything he does. Alongside photography, Ben excels at graphic & web design and played a significant role in shaping the Adaptalux branding and website into what you see today.

Ben has a very charming and fun personality, which when combined with his skill set makes him an excellent content creator. He enjoys experimenting with new techniques and sharing ways to use the Adaptalux Studio with our community of photographers. You can see Ben’s ideas and tutorials on our YouTube channel and blog. Ben lives in Lincolnshire, UK with his Wife, Amy and their 2 Cats, BMO and Leeloo. Ben loves spending time at his local pub with a nice cold beer. One can usually find him socialising and enjoying a pizza or BBQ with friends.

Outside of the visual arts, Ben enjoys music, specifically house and EDM. His other interests include topics related to space, physics and futurism. He takes the opportunity to travel whenever possible, having most recently visited New York, USA and Tamil Nadu, India

Ben is a huge fan of Sci-Fi, delving into books, movies and video games. He also spends a lot of time in virtual reality and is a dab hand at the musical sword slinging game Beat Saber. He one day hopes to become a true Jedi Master.
