This Privacy Policy discloses the policies of Adaptalux Ltd. (“Adaptalux,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and explains the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us, our websites (, mobile applications, and/or any of Adaptalux’s other online or mobile products (“Services”).

We do not disclose data to any third parties unless disclosure is necessary for the fulfilment of a service; you have specifically given consent for a particular service; or we have a legitimate interest in disclosing data. Contract – we sometimes need to collect and process your personal data in order to fulfil a contract with you, for example an order. We will also collect and process your data on this basis if you’ve asked us to provide a quote or request custom services like review units.

Legal – we are obliged to process some personal data to comply with the law. If you place an order with us we must retain some personal data for at least six years to comply with the Sale of Goods Act 1982, Consumer Rights Act of 2015 and HMRC guidance.

We do not store credit card details

  • When you use our websites, we may collect and analyze information such as your IP address, browser types, browser language, operating system, the state or country from which you accessed the Services, referring and exit pages and URLs, platform type, the number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time you used the Services and upload or post content, error logs, and other similar information.
  • When you access the Services via a mobile device, we may collect information such as geolocation information, unique device identifiers (e.g., a UDID or IDFA on Apple devices like the iPhone, and iPad) and other information about your mobile phone or other mobile device(s), such as operating system, version, and time spent in different parts of our mobile app and other apps on your phone.

We do not store credit card details, payment services are handled by third-party providers.

We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorised access, to maintain data security, and to use correctly the information we collect online. We will only keep your data for as long as it’s needed. After that, we’ll either delete it completely or render it anonymous (removing personal data but keeping information such as order amount for business analysis).

If you order from us, we’ll keep your data for six years in order to comply with legal obligations. You can request that some of this is removed sooner – see below.

After six years we will remove your data unless you have consented to our marketing.

  • Have your personal data rectified if out of date or incorrect
  • Have personal data erased, unless that would conflict with our legal obligations

  • By opting in to receive marketing communications when entering a competition.
  • By opting in to receive marketing communications using the check box when placing an order in our checkout.
