Well it’s been a while since I last posted an update. We have been incredibly busy, but we hope everyone is well and getting fantastic photographs with their Adaptalux Studios. Here is a video clip we captured last week of a great macro photography subject – a Pine Cone.

New Adaptalux Monthly LIVE Close-up sessions
We are excited to announce that we will be producing Adaptalux Studio Close-up Videos each month. In each episode, we will explore the world with Adaptalux lighting and show you how to produce fantastic lighting effects for your photographs and videos.
Adaptalux Stabiliser Campaign
This campaign has now come to an end. We have finished shipping all reward levels and we will be posting the website pre-orders out in the next few days. Thank you again to those who supported us during this campaign.

The Photography Show
In March, we exhibited at our very first show, the Photography Show in Birmingham NEC. It was an incredible experience, and we sold out of our show stock in just 2 days. We were humbled by the reaction to Adaptalux Studio and it made us realise why we love doing this, for you guys who love photography. We will be back next year at the Photography Show 2018.

New Brand
We have recently refreshed our brand. We now have a much more modern, sleek and recognisable logo for the Adaptalux company. We have also created a much more streamlined logo for the Adaptalux Studio to make it even more recognisable as a product range. We hope these logos will be associated with the great products we have made so far on this journey, and we have plenty more plans for the Studio in the future.

We Welcome Ben to the Team!
Ben has recently joined Adaptalux full-time. Ben and I make a fantastic team, as seen at the Photography Show and I am delighted to have him on board for the Adaptalux journey. We have many exciting plans for the future to carry on growing Adaptalux and expanding!

First Distributor Deal!
Wex Photographic now sell Adaptalux products! Wex are the largest UK online photography retailer and we are delighted to be working with them to provide Adaptalux Studios to even more people across the UK and Europe. When I first started this project back in University, I could only dream that Adaptalux Studio would be easily accessible for every photographer who wanted easy and controllable creative lighting. Gaining a distributor is a step closer to fulfilling that dream.

Android App
We are still working out the most financially viable way of building the Android App. We are hoping this will be possible soon and we can launch the app by the end of the year.
A lot has happened in the first half of 2017 and we are continuing to grow at a steady rate. We are really looking forward to the future and we have plenty of plans for the Adaptalux Studio and we also have something completely new in the works, so watch this space!
It’s incredible to think that just 1 year ago I was working alone assembling Adaptalux’s in my garage with help from my Mum!
