We are excited to announce the release of the Stabiliser 2.0, the ultimate low-profile, lightweight and sturdy photography gear support accessory.

Over the years, we have had a lot of feedback on how people used the original Stabiliser, both indoors and outdoors. With this in mind, the Stabiliser 2.0 has been re-designed from the ground up.

The final result is the Stabiliser 2.0 – stronger, lighter, and much more versatile. It’s the perfect photography gear support for your Adaptalux Lighting, Cameras and other photography accessories.

Flexible Mounting Options

We’ve designed the Stabiliser 2.0 to work in as many situations as possible. The base can be used directly on a tabletop with soft rubber feet, or outdoors with its integrated soft grip teeth. You can also add spiked feet to keep it in place on soft terrain.

There are two main mounting points, where Adaptalux Pods, cameras or other photography equipment can be mounted too using the provided D-Ring Thumb Screw.

A strap mount is included, allowing the Stabiliser to be fixed to poles, tree branches, or other unusual surfaces. This makes it possible to mount lighting and accessories in places that would normally be difficult to reach.

There are also multiple ¼-20 mounting points built into the design, giving you flexibility to attach Pods, cameras, and other gear exactly where you need them.

Stronger and Lighter

The Stabiliser 2.0 is additive manufactured in-house here in the UK from carbon fibre reinforced PET-G. This new material is much stronger than the original and allows us to create a part that is both extremely durable and lightweight.

The internal structure has also been redesigned, so the Stabiliser 2.0 is extremely tough while weighing only 67g. It can easily be carried around in a bag or pocket, ready to be used at any time. It can also survive most environments and falls.

What’s Included?

The Stabiliser 2.0 comes as a complete kit with everything you need to get started. We wanted to design and provide a product, that can be used in most situations straight out of the box.

• Accessory pouch

• 4 × screw-in spiked feet

• 2 × male-to-male thread adaptors

• D-ring ¼-20 thumbscrew

• 3 × permanent mounting screws

• Strap for pole/tree mounting

• Tightening tool

All of these parts fit neatly into the included pouch, so it’s easy to keep everything together and ready to go.

Designed and made in the UK

The Stabiliser 2.0 is designed and produced in-house. Using the latest FDM techniques, allowing us to minimise waste while still creating a very strong and reliable product. This technique also allows us to manufacture the product as one solid part, making it lightweight but very strong. We have our own print farm producing the new stabilisers, ensuring high quality control processes throughout the production process.
