The Adaptalux Studio has enabled me to take my creativity to another level. The UV Arms in particular have taken me down a new path in my photographic journey. One of my favorite sayings is “in the right light, even the ordinary can look extraordinary’ – the Adaptalux Studio helps make this all possible.

I recently purchased the UV light tubes with the combo pack and have been really happy with their performance for reflected UV-light macro photography. On boost mode, they’re bright enough that I can use a relatively low ISO while stopping down the lens to get additional depth of field. I can tell that they’ll also be great for UV-induced fluorescence, because when I’m using them I see objects fluorescing in my studio!

I am really enjoying my experience with Adaptalux. I dove in headfirst and purchased both control pods, 5 UV arms, and an assortment of other arms & accessories. It’s amazing to see what and how various things fluoresce – things opens up a whole new genre of photo opportunities!

The ultraviolet lighting arm is a must-have for this surreal photography world. Simple setup – I produced fantastic otherworldly images in minutes. Just get used to working in the dark and be patient, adjusting exposures. There are lots of resources available on the website.
