Flash Arm will not Charge when inserted

Green light showing but no red lights

  1. Ensure you have boost mode turned on your Pod.
  2. Press the top button on your Pod once to enter brightness control mode, this can encourage the Arm to start its charging process.
  3. Ensure your Pod is sufficiently charged.
  4. Please ensure all electrical contact points on both the Pod and Lighting Arm are clean and free from foreign objects. If dirty, please clean using a cotton bud and some nail polish remover (acetone). If this does not resolve the issue, please remove the arm, rotate 90 degrees and re-connect.

Flash Arm is not reaching certain power levels anymore

Flash Arms charge depending on the power coming from your Pod. Please ensure your battery is charged well. As your battery level in your Pod drops, certain Flash power levels may not be obtainable anymore as your Pod begins to run out of battery. If it is taking a long time to charge between shots please adjust to the next power level down or charge your Pod.

I can only reach power level 1

  1. Ensure Boost mode is activated on your Pod.
  2. If you are using a Pod 1.0, the only level you will be able to reach is level 1. Level 1 is the Pod 1 and low battery power level. This is because Pod 1.0 do not have the ability to boost, and therefore they do not support higher levels of the flash Arms.
  3. Ensure your Pod is sufficiently charged.
