Xenon Flash Arms are used in combination with the Flash Trigger.

You will feel a magnetic pull, rotate the arm until it clicks into place.
The green light on the flash head will illuminate once connected.
Sequential Red lights will illuminate as the Flash Arm charges, this may take up to a minute on first charge.QUICK START XENON FLASHContinue BOOST MODEMore info (Opens in new tab) Pods have a boost function that provides more power to connected Arms.
Flash Arms require boost mode to be activated at all times.
Activate boost mode by pressing both buttons once (Pod Mini), or holding the dial (Pod 3.0).
We also recommend turning the power of the Port to 100% for optimum re-charge times.
If using multiple Flash Arms in the Pod 3.0, we recommend waiting 1 minute between

(Solid Green Light)The Flash Lighting Arm has a series of lights, that indicate it's state once connected. Ensure boost mode is turned on when using your Flash Arms.Low Power
Level 1 is the fastest Flash, but less power. Level 5 is the slowest flash, but most power.
Fast flash speeds freeze motion more effectively, use less battery and recycle faster.
Slow flash speeds use more power but are brighter.
The Flash Power level can be selected by using the Control Button underneath the Flash or
wirelessly via the App (iOS only).QUICK START XENON FLASHContinue CONTROL BUTTONMore info (Opens in new tab) The Control Button can be used to quickly select a Flash Power level by pressing it once, when in use.
The Control button is also used after disconnecting a Flash Lighting Arm from the Control Pod, hold the discharge button for 5-7 seconds to discharge any remaining power.

Boost mode is automatically activated when selecting the Flash Symbol for a port.
Select a connected Flash Arm and then select a power level. The Flash Arm will load for a moment before selecting the desired Flash Level.

Don't twist! Just pull the arm away from the Pod.
Removing all arms will turn off the Pod automatically.QUICK START XENON FLASHContinue FLASH TRIGGERMore info (Opens in new tab) The Flash Trigger, tells the Flash Arms when to fire in sync with your camera. It attaches to the camera hotshoe.
The Trigger is powered by 2x AAA batteries. Batteries are inserted via the battery flap.

Turn on the Trigger using the power button.

The recommended range is up to 3 metres.

Allow a short time between photos for the Flash Arms to recharge. This time will depend on the power setting been used.
