Lighting Arms are connected and controlled by a Pod.
The Pod 3.0 has a built-in battery, 5 Ports and Bluetooth control.
It can support both LED and Xenon Flash Lighting Arms.
Use the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to charge your Pod via the port at the rear.

Make sure the contacts are clean and free from obstruction.
Connect an Arm to the Pod, you will feel a magnetic pull, rotate the arm until it locks into place.
The Lighting Arm will automatically illuminate at 50% brightness.
If using multiple Xenon Flash Arms, please wait 1 minute between plugging each one in, to
allow for sufficient charge up.
Removing all arms will turn off the Pod automatically.
The Lighting Arm will pulse to show which arm is being adjusted.
You can press the dial multiple times to select each arm in sequence.
Rotate anti-clockwise to decrease brightness, or clockwise to increase brightness. Turn the dial slower for fine adjustments.
When you are happy with your new settings, leave the Pod for a few seconds.
Manual control mode will end automatically and save your new brightness settings.
Holding the dial while not in manual control mode will toggle boost mode on and off.
When connected to bluetooth, boost mode is toggled in the app.
Boost Mode must be turned on to use Xenon Flash Arms.
Both LED Lighting Arms & Xenon Flash (iOS only) can be remotely controlled via the app.
Download the app on to your device by clicking below, or search "Adaptalux" on the app store.
On the Adaptalux App, press the + button in the top right of the screen (iOS only).
Press "Connect to Control Pod" to begin searching for a Pod.
To deactivate Bluetooth Mode when you are finished, hold the Bluetooth button again for 2-3 seconds before unplugging Lighting Arms.
The indicator light will turn off once connected to the app.
There are two profile sync options to choose from.
Select "Pod" if you would like the Pod to tell the app which ports are currently occupied, this allows you to preserve existing manual brightness adjustments.
Select "App" to send the current app brightness settings to the Pod if you have set up your app ahead of connecting.
Select an arm and use the slider to adjust its power. Toggle boost mode using the switch in the top right.
Xenon Flash Arms can be controlled by selecting the Flash Symbol. (iOS only).
When you are finished, hold the bluetooth button on the Pod for 2 seconds to turn off bluetooth mode, returning to manual control.
